8月15日，江苏省测绘产品质量监督检验站接到南京市水上运动学校的紧急求援电话，在南京青奥会即将开幕之际，赛会技术组的外国专家对位于玄武湖的1000米赛艇比赛场地起点线和终点线的位置精度提出了质疑，学校请求省质检站对比赛场地起终点线的位置进行精确测量并保障比赛专业设备的准确安置。

南京青奥会1000米赛艇比赛场地位于南京市水上运动学校内部的玄武湖水面上，比赛场地起终点线由布设在水中的四根钢管组成，需要在起点和终点位置的水上瞭望塔内安装红外标志线设备，并保证红外标志线与钢管组成标志的精确重合。了解到任务的紧急性与困难度，省测绘产品质量监督检验站领导及技术人员紧急奔赴现场，经与外国专家详细的沟通与交流，确定了设备安装方案，在他们的配合下，终于在当日20时成功完成设备的安装调试工作，确保了青奥会赛场的准时使用。省测绘产品质量监督检验站技术人员严格认真的工作态度和精湛的操作能力，得到了外国专家与承办单位的一致好评。
