8月7日，四川测绘地理信息局组织相关专家，审定通过2015版四川省领导工作用图方案。

专家研讨会上，与会专家充分肯定了历年领导工作用图编制工作，对2015版领导工作用图方案提出意见建议。大家认为，四川省领导工作用图应建立常态工作机制，建议纳入省“十三五”基础测绘发展规划，提出更加注重地图现势性、实用性、权威性，充分考虑用图者的需求，同时对2015版四川省领导工作用图和市州地图的图组构成、内容表示、印装形式提出意见。

《四川省领导工作用图》从2005年到2012年共编制了5版，并成功开发ipad电子地图版本。作为服务于省委省政府和各级领导的地理信息产品，该图件能够提供权威、标准、连续的地理省情信息产品，更好地为政府领导决策提供更科学、更直观、更实用的参考依据，获得了各方面赞誉。
