7月4日，海南测绘地理信息局召开2014年上半年工作总结会，总结半年工作，研究部署下半年工作举措。局处级以上干部参加会议。

会议对海南局在群众路线党的教育实践活动深化整改、重点测绘工程项目推进、上半年经济运行和局2014年重点工作执行情况等方面工作进行了总结，对各处室、局属各单位的工作情况进行了总结和梳理，对上半年的工作成绩进行了肯定，对下半年的工作提出了要求。

会议认为，上半年海南局扎实推进地理国情普查工作，加快三大平台建设，进一步规范测绘地理信息统一监管，进一步改善测绘地理信息行政环境，推进海南省测绘地理信息事业转型升级，提升测绘地理信息保障服务能力，在全面贯彻落实党的十八届三中全会精神的开局之年开了好头。

会议对下半年工作提出要求：一要继续加强测绘项目的工作力度，扎实推进地理国情普查工作，按照国务院普查办的时间节点要求完成普查任务，继续加强三大平台建设，推进数字城市建设与应用推广，加强天地图数据更新和节点应用。二要充分认识深化测绘地理信息领域改革的必要性和紧迫性，主动适应发展，在工作不断探索推进测绘地理信息事业转型升级，提升产业附加值。三要加强厅局业务协作，各部门加强学习贯彻姜大明部长在6月16日调研中国测绘创新基地时的重要讲话，找准定位，发挥优势，推进资源共享，服务社会发展。四要注重生产安全工作，立制度，强意识，宣传安全工作常识，建立长效机制，保证测绘生产工作安全，无事故发生。
