6月25日至27日，甘肃省普查办分别在金昌、张掖、武威三市召开地理国情普查工作启动会议。省第一次全国地理国情普查领导小组副组长、省普查办主任、省测绘地理信息局局长缪树德出席会议并讲话，金昌市政府副市长马得明，张掖市政府副市长王向机、武威市政府副市长冯仁强分别出席会议并讲话，省普查办副主任、省测绘地理信息局副局长苗天宝主持会议。

在三市的启动会上，省普查办分别通报了省地理国情普查开展的总体情况；金昌、张掖、武威三市分别汇报了本市地理国情普查工作开展情况，结合本地区实际对普查成果共享应用提出了建议，并对三市的地理国情普查工作进行了安排部署；各普查任务承担单位就工作衔接与配合、做好相应县（区）的地理国情普查工作等事项进行了表态发言，对按期保质保量完成承担区域的普查任务做出了公开承诺。

缪树德指出，地理国情普查是国务院安排部署的一项重要任务，是掌握国情、了解国情、服务发展的一项重大决策。地理国情普查将在政府决策、百姓民生、生态保护、应急抢险等方方面面发挥巨大作用，各市、县(区)和各单位一定要深刻理解开展地理国情普查工作的背景以及重大意义，只有大家了解、百姓关心、政府关注，这项工作才能够做好。

缪树德要求，一要高度重视。各市、县、各单位、各部门要深刻认识和高度重视地理国情普查工作，要进一步增强参与普查工作的积极性、主动性，全力协助做好相应市县的普查工作。二要加强统筹协调。普查是全省“一张图”、一个时点，各市、各县(区)和普查任务承担单位之间要相互配合、互相支持，协调沟通解决困难和问题。只有这样普查工作才能够有序开展，才能够按期完成。三要确保质量。最终形成的普查成果，将提交党中央、国务院、省政府和市、县各级人民政府领导决策，应用和服务于政府各部门和百姓民生，一定要确保普查成果全面、真实、准确。四要边普查边应用。普查的目的是为了利用普查成果服务于国家经济社会发展，各市、县要结合区域发展重点热点难点，谋划地理国情普查成果应用，通过普查成果应用，了解区域发展，监管生态环境，建设秀美山川，最终服务政府、造福百姓。五要重视宣传工作。本次各市的地理国情普查工作启动会也是宣传会，各市、县要进一步加大宣传力度，要通过大力宣传形成社会了解、大家支持地理国情普查工作的良好氛围。

金昌、张掖、武威市政府分管领导分别要求，市各部门、各县（区）要站在促进市、县经济社会发展的高度，以这次启动会议为契机，积极行动，主动配合，加强沟通与协调，互相理解与支持，各方共同努力，全力推进普查工作顺利进行。
