6月18日，四川测绘地理信息局印发《关于开展2014年中期安全生产检查总结的通知》、《关于加强暑期、汛期安全生产工作的通知》，部署局直属单位与行业单位安全生产工作。

通知要求高度重视安全生产工作，充分认识暑期、汛期安全生产工作的严峻形势。一要提高认识，周密部署安全生产工作。牢固树立“红线”意识，充分认识严峻形势，提高思想认识，周密部署，抓牢、抓实各项安全生产任务。二要把握重点，做好外业生产安全保障。以外业生产安全为重点，密切监控外业队伍的生产状况，制定切实可行的避险防范预案。三要加强宣传，积极开展安全生产月活动。在暑期和汛期积极开展安全生产月活动，强化安全生产培训，切实提高职工安全生产意识，形成良好的安全生产工作氛围。四是强化监督，及时排除安全隐患。进一步强化安全生产监督管理力度，定期开展安全生产检查，及时整治、排除安全生产隐患，确保各项工作顺利开展。

今年，四川局安委会在加强局直属单位安全生产管理的同时，还同步加大对省地理信息公共平台项目、第一次全国地理国情普查各承担单位的安全生产管理与监督工作。
