6月13日，《四川省人民政府办公厅关于促进地理信息产业发展的实施意见》(以下简称《实施意见》)正式印发。6月19日下午，四川测绘地理信息局召开会议，专题研究《实施意见》的贯彻落实工作。

会议认真学习了《实施意见》，对相关重点内容进行了解读，就抓好宣传贯彻工作展开了讨论，初步明确了以下几项措施：一是组织认真学习，编写解读文本，召开座谈会，在全省测绘地理信息行业下发文件进行宣传部署，掀起学习贯彻《实施意见》的热潮。二是加强新闻宣传，通过报纸、电视、网站等新闻媒体，做好《实施意见》出台的宣传报道工作。三是落实工作机制，四川局尽快成立工作推进小组，并与相关部门协调，推动成立四川省促进地理信息产业发展工作领导小组或四川省地理信息产业发展协调联席会议制度。四是制定工作方案，根据会上初步确定的《实施意见》贯彻落实工作方案，进一步修改完善，明确工作目标、时间进度和职责分工。

会议强调，省政府办公厅出台的《实施意见》中有关发展目标、发展重点、保障措施等内容都非常切合四川的实际，可操作性很强，这是促进四川地理信息产业发展的一件大好事，其中一些重点工作四川局早已在谋划之中，相关部门要借《实施意见》出台的契机，抓紧落实，奋力推进四川地理信息产业加快发展。

局办公室、行管处、国土测绘处、地图处、财务处、科技处、人事处、地信中心、机关后勤服务中心等部门和单位负责人参加了会议。
