为做好全省参加2014年“美丽中国”第二届全国国家版图知识竞赛和少儿手绘地图大赛的各项组织工作，近日，山东省国土资源厅联合中共山东省委宣传部等12部门下发了《关于组织参加“美丽中国”第二届国家版图知识竞赛和少儿手绘地图大赛的通知》，在全省部署开展国家版图知识竞赛和少儿手绘地图大赛活动，对做好竞赛组织的各项工作开展提出具体要求。

《通知》指出，开展“美丽中国”国家版图知识竞赛和少儿手绘地图大赛，是提高公民特别是青少年的国家版图意识、普及国家版图知识、辨别“问题地图”能力，激发少年儿童对家乡、对祖国以及人类赖以生存的地球的认知与热爱，营造自觉维护国家版图尊严的社会氛围的有效途径；是全面贯彻落实党的十八大提出的维护国家领土主权和海洋权益的重要举措；是弘扬社会主义核心价值观，加强爱国主义教育的重要组成部分。通过举办不同形式的竞赛活动，进一步促进全社会更好地掌握国家版图知识，强化国家版图意识，凝聚爱国热情，维护国家安全。

《通知》强调，为做好“美丽中国”国家版图知识竞赛和少儿手绘地图大赛各项工作，各级、各部门各负其责，做好组织工作。山东省赛区竞赛组织工作由省国家版图意识宣传教育和地图市场监管协调指导小组（以下简称协调指导小组）负责，省竞赛组委会由省协调指导小组各成员单位组成，组委会下设办公室，设在省国土资源厅，负责竞赛的日常组织工作。山东省测绘行业协会、山东省测绘学会、山东省地图院协办。各市协调指导小组积极做好组织参赛有关工作。

《通知》明确了各竞赛组织形式、参赛对象、竞赛内容以及有关参赛规则。公布了竞赛官方网站为（http://bantu.tianditu.com），竞赛内容包括与国家版图有关的地图、地理、历史、风景名胜以及法律法规等有关知识，《通知》分别明确了参加国家版图知识竞赛个人赛、国家版图知识竞赛团体赛省级赛和全国赛、少儿手绘地图大赛的竞赛规则。

《通知》要求，各市协调指导小组一是要高度重视竞赛组织工作，增强组织开展竞赛活动的责任感和紧迫感，加强领导，落实责任，组织好竞赛活动；二是要按照竞赛组委会的统一部署，结合本地区实际，制定具体的实施方案，提供必要的人、财、物保障，保障竞赛各项工作顺利开展；三是要增进配合、加强协作、多方联动，着力提升整体合力和影响力，努力做好国家版图知识竞赛和少儿手绘地图大赛各项工作；四是要充分利用电视、报刊、网络、广播等新闻媒体，积极做好竞赛活动的宣传工作，扩大竞赛知晓率和参与度，大力宣传竞赛活动中涌现出来的好经验、好做法，充分发挥先进典型的示范带动作用。
