The afternoon of June 5th, the national resources satellite three data backupcenter yesterday and the first batch of data warehousing ceremony held in thegeographic information industrial park in Heilongjiang province. Deputy director,deputy director of Heilongjiang Bureau of Surveying and mapping geographic information, Geographic Information Bureau Xu Kaiming of national mappingsatellite mapping application center sun Chengzhi attended the ceremony andcommon backup center.

After the opening ceremony, accompanied by Xu Kaiming, Sun Chengzhi in theconstruction unit related personnel inspect the backup center infrastructure construction, listened carefully to the intelligent tape management system, data management software, disk array, network servers, storage devices, asked in detail about the maintenance and data security situation.

In the subsequent meeting of the conference, remote sensing information center and the National Bureau of Surveying and mapping in Heilongjiang province usingsatellite centers around the backup center operation to exchange views, clear thedata receiving, maintenance of equipment and personnel arrangements and so on, and the national development and Reform Commission industrialization projectcooperation carried out in-depth discussion, reached a cooperation intention of DSM application test.

Design of storage capacity of resources satellite three data backup center project phase is 2700TB, the storage 300TB, later will be the monthly incremental 40TBpersistent storage. Backup center put into operation to reduce the potential risks of the natural disaster and war, the effective protection of the security of national basic geographic information strategic reserve, but also to lay a solid foundation for further development of Basic Geographic Information Industrial Park in Heilongjiang Province, will play a positive role in promoting the rapid development of satellite remote sensing industry in Heilongjiang province.
